We have handled thousands of insurance claims for homeowners and business owners while working in conjunction with the insurance adjuster. Often claims are adjusted by telephone these days. RCC North DKI can help you navigate through this process whether it involves claims on the exterior or interior of your property caused by a storm, wind, fire, water, and other events.
Safety First! Rocky Cross Construction North DKI makes safety on job site projects and in our facilities our top priority. We have a full-time NCSO safety officer on staff. We have an integrated safety program coupled with safety being a way of demonstrating our professional integrity, pride and workmanship.
THE INSURANCE REPAIR PROCESS:
• Contact your insurance company. If possible have your policy number and the date and time of your loss.
• Make sure to tell them where you can be reached, especially if you are unable to stay in your home or business.
• Contact us for an assessment or Emergency Service at (403) 252-2550
• Let them know you want your property examined by a certified restoration contractor. Ask for a claim number and report it to your Rocky Cross Construction (North) DKI representative. Meet with all parties.
• RCC North DKI will arrange a time to visit your property and do an assessment and keep your insurance company informed of our findings.
• Make a video or take photo’s of your damaged property if it is safe to do so.
• We’ll come to your property at your convenience and inspect your property and give you our recommendations.
• Do not throw away damaged property or contents without your adjuster’s approval.
• Your insurance adjuster will review our initial reports, photo’s and estimates of your loss and will respond with coverage details.
• RCC North DKI cannot interpret your insurance coverage; only your insurance provider or adjuster can do that
• You will need to sign a Customer Authorization form before we do any work in your home or business
• RCC North DKI will arrange when your materials will be delivered and the installation date for the rebuilding or repairing of damages.
• Your claim will begin and your RCC North DKI Project Manager will keep you updated on what’s being done and what the timeline is.
• You will need to pay the deductible not covered by your insurance
• On losses where the Insurance Policy of the claim has a GST number, the GST portion of the claim will need to be paid by you to us.
• We will notify the insurance company when work starts.
• RCC North DKI will require a Completion Certificate once work is finished so we can submit to the insurance company and close our file.
• You will be responsible for upgrades and deductibles and they will be payable to RCC North DKI.
• Upgrades and other changes to your property or contents will need to be verified with your insurance adjuster. We will help you with this process.
